Christmas 2013

I am a little late to this holiday update [per the usual] but for good reason this time. We just finished up our Christmas celebration two days ago so I have been waiting until all the festivities were finished to post about it. This holiday season snuck up on me faster than any others in recent memory, but I still really enjoyed this last week of celebrations with friends and family.

Hope you enjoy my picture walk-through our holiday fun.

Our silver and white Christmas tree equipped with the hubs favorite holiday decor piece…the train!
Handmade stockings for my little family!
Kraft paper wrapped Christmas gifts are my favorite!
The hubs and I started the holiday celebration last weekend with his side of the family. His brother and and his wife were in town so it made for a really fun day. Unfortunately I was horrible with the camera and only captured this picture of my husband drooling over his new toy.
Our next stop on the holiday-visit train was to my family’s place to spend Christmas Eve with my mom and siblings. This day was filled with love, laughter, food, and rejuvenating family time. [I did only slightly better with pictures this day]
My mom is so unbelievably excited about little man’s April arrival and couldn’t help but spoil him with gifts and even his very own stocking.
Christmas day the hubs had to work so I spent the morning sleeping in and waiting for him to get home around 3. It was actually quite nice being able to do absolutely nothing for a few hours. When he got home we celebrated our last Christmas as a two-some with gifts and a little Christmas dinner for just us. It was great being able to spend the day with just him. It was also pretty awesome being able to stay in my pajamas all day like I was a kid all over again.
Staying in pajamas all day is the best way to spend the day!

The last holiday event was our annual Friend Christmas. This year we decided to take advantage of all the lovely Christmas clothing on the market and have an ugly Christmas sweater party. This night was filled with good food, good friends, and a ton of fun!

Awkward pictures are the BEST pictures!
Hope you all had a wonderful, fun filled Christmas season!
