Weight: 20 lbs
Length: 29 1/2 inches
Sleeping: Sleeping is pretty much the same. He heads to bed between 9 and 10 and tends to wake anywhere from 2-5 times each night. At least once a night he is up to nurse but most of the time he is just waking between sleep cycles and needs some help to get back to sleep.
Milestones: This last month was a huge one for our little guy. He is now pulling himself up onto everything and cruising all around the house. He doesn’t quite know how to get down from standing so he will fuss when he wants to sit. He will also walk if you hold his hands and he is a crawling machine!
Best Moments: Every night when I get home from work he will squeal when he hears the door open. His face lights up when he sees me and it is amazing! He is also so vocal. I love how expressive he gets when he is “telling a story”. I can’t understand his babbles yet but he loves to talk. Celebrating Christmas this last month was a wonderful time as well. Asher didn’t really understand the whole unwrapping presents thing but it was still fun. We took him to see Santa and even did a few Christmas crafts at home. Christmas really is so much more fun when you have kids.
Hardest Moments: I am still working on accepting the whole daycare thing. Asher is part of an amazing daycare and I know he is cared for and loved but none of that makes it easier to head to work everyday. I try to tell myself he is only in daycare for two to three hours before Jacob picks him up but it still breaks my heart to leave him.
