Sleeping: Little man has been getting back to a decent sleeping schedule. Longest bouts of sleep are back to 4-5 hours, which is a great improvement after a few nights of getting up every 2 hours.
Milestones: Log rolling all over the place. Starting the beginnings of crawling by scooting all over the place. He likes to push his head down into the floor and propel himself forward on his toes. Started saying “Dada”. Trying solid foods. Sitting up unassisted.
Best Moments: Trying solids for the first time today. We started with avacado and he took it like a pro. Going to the racetrack for the first time to see daddy race. Watching him roll about the house. It doesn’t seem that long ago that he was a tiny squish that didn’t understand toys and now he has favorites and will travel to go get them. He has also started holding my nose or stroking my face while he nurses. It might be the cutest thing ever!
Worst Moments: Daycare germs have gotten the best of him and he came down with a bit of a cold. There is nothing worse than a congested baby and not being able to fix it. (I highly recommend the Nose Frida by the way)
Baby’s Favorites: Still loves his jumparoo. Loves any chew toy he can get his hands on but especially his Soffee giraffe and his Nuby keys.
Fun Things to Remember:
- Going to the racetrack as a family of three for the first time.
- Trying solid foods for the first time.
- Hearing him say “dada”. It is so adorable.
- Hearing his giggle.
- Watching him roll all around
