Time has gotten away from me so I will be catching up on two weeks with this post.
How far along?: Currently, 33 Weeks
Weight gain: I haven’t visited a scale recently but I know the number is climbing. I am trying not to focus on weight and rather focus on how I feel and I am feeling good!
Maternity clothes: Yes!
Stretch marks: As of this week I now have a small one on my lower belly. Right in the area where little man likes to stretch out.
Sadly seeing this really bummed me out but I am trying to channel the whole “I’m a tiger I earned my stripes” mantra. I’ll admit this is harder than I expected. For now, I will focus on lathering up in as much coconut oil my body can handle.
Sleep: I have come to a good place with sleep. I don’t think I will ever sleep through the night again but at least I have adapted enough to get through my day without naps.
Best moment(s) these last weeks: I had my first baby shower, hosted by my MIL. It was great to see all the ladies on the hub’s side of the family. It also made things seem so much more real as we were unpacking all our gifts into the little man’s room.
Worst moment(s) these last weeks: I am 150% over the snow. Seriously this is ridiculous. Also…I have also had to take off my wedding rings as my hands are sausage-like puffy now 🙁
Miss anything?: Being comfortable.
Movement: So many big kicks. The poor little guy is getting cramped in there and doesn’t like when I am sitting for too long. During a series of meetings last week he played soccer on my rib cage.
Food Cravings: Cereal
Anything making you queasy or sick?: Nothing new.
Gender: Boy!
Labor signs: Just good ol’ Braxton Hicks. Otherwise, little man is staying inside for at least 6 more weeks.
Symptoms: Big belly and an active little man.
Belly button in or out?: Out, out, out
Wedding rings on or off?: Off and I am hating every minute of it. 🙁
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy
Looking forward to: Little man’s arrival
Exercising still?: Little old ladies at the gym tell me every day how ‘cute’ I am when I am going along on the treadmill. The men at the gym have looks of fear that the baby is going to fall out mid bicep curl but despite it all, I am still hitting the gym for some elliptical time and weights at least 3 times a week.
