27 Weeks Pregnant

How far along?: 27 Weeks Pregnant
Total weight gain: Finally visited with the scale again and I am still 2 pounds down from pre-pregnancy weight.
Maternity clothes: Yes!
Stretch marks: None. Here’s hoping this lasts.
Sleep: I have been making an effort to stretch before I head to bed and that seems to really help with the tightness and pain. All in all, sleep has improved.
Best moment(s) this last week: This was a really good week. I enjoyed ringing in the New Years, spending time with friends I hadn’t seen in a while, and attending a hockey game with my hubs. And most of all making it to the 3rd trimester the middle of this week!
Miss anything?: Caffeine
Movement: He is a very active little man.
Food Cravings: I have eaten quite a few bowls of cereal this week. It seems to always hit the spot.
Anything making you queasy or sick?: Nothing new.
Gender: Boy!
Labor signs: Nope. Still too early for that.
Symptoms: I think I have started to experience Braxton Hicks contractions. Nothing painful, just random tightening every now and then. Luckily they are eased with water and rest.
Belly button in or out?: Still in but definitely on its way out.
Wedding rings on or off?: On
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy
Looking forward to: Getting the nursery finished. I can’t wait to get all the pieces together.
Exercising still?: We had so much snow this last week so I didn’t do too much. If the weather allows us to leave our house I will be back to it next week.
28 Weeks Pregnant-3rd Trimester!

How far along?: 28 Weeks Pregnant (3rd Trimester!!)
Maternity clothes: Yes!
Stretch marks: None. Here’s hoping this lasts.
Sleep: This is hit or miss. Some nights are better than others.
Best moment(s) this past week: This week marked the start of our every 2-week appointments with the doctor. The arrival of our little man is getting so close! We also made some progress on the nursery this week.
Worst moment this last week: We were covered in snow for the whole week. I am not a fan of the cold anymore. I also received a call from my doctor telling me that I technically passed my 1-hour glucose test, but since the values were close to the line and my family has a history of blood sugar issues I get to take the 3-hour test next week (boo!).
Miss anything?: Being able to sleep comfortably
Movement: Yes! He is very active in there.
Food Cravings: Still loving cereal.
Anything making you queasy or sick?: Nothing new.

Symptoms: Big ol’ belly, trouble sleeping, tiny kicks and punches.
Belly button in or out?: Out
Wedding rings on or off?: On
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy
Looking forward to: Being able to show off our nursery
Exercising still?: Still not back in the gym as often as I would like but I am getting a few workouts in each week.
