Bumpdate: 23 and 24 Weeks Pregnant

24 weeks pregnant

Between the holidays and the end of the year workload, I feel like I’ve lost the last three weeks of my life. It feels only a few days have passed and yet we are only a few weeks away from 2014! It is so hard to believe we are officially 24 weeks pregnant.

I can’t believe how quickly time is passing. In an attempt to play catch-up here are bumpdates for the last two weeks. It is so crazy to think how quickly this pregnancy is going.

On one hand, I am so excited to meet our little man, but on the other, I am sad at the idea of not being pregnant. I am not sure why [and I am sure I will be singing a different tune come the 3rd trimester] but I am loving being pregnant.

How far along?: 24 weeks pregnant

Total weight gain: I haven’t been weighing myself lately but I can tell the bump is growing.

Maternity clothes: Yes! Mostly maternity yoga pants and dress pants. I have also successfully stretched the life of a few pairs of jeans with the belly band.

Stretch marks: None. Here’s hoping this lasts.

Sleep: This week I was waking up a lot to shift position. Hopefully, this goes away soon (fingers crossed)

Best moment(s) these last weeks: We got an awesome deal on an antique dresser for the nursery. We are making progress on the nursery and I can’t wait to show you all.

Miss anything?: Caffeine

Movement: Yes! He is going crazy in there.

Food Cravings: Salty things are still my favorite but I am back to being hungry but wanting nothing. A sucky place to be.

Anything making you queasy or sick?: Pasta, bread, and meat.

Gender: Boy!

Labor signs: Nope.

Symptoms: Occasional back pain and stuffy nose.

Belly button in or out?: Still in but definitely on its way out.

Wedding rings on or off?: On

Happy or moody most of the time: Perhaps it’s the stress of the holidays or work but I have had my fair share of mood swings these last two weeks. [Thanks for loving me despite them dear hubby]

Looking forward to: Getting his crib up and finally starting to see the nursery come together.

Exercising still?: Got back into the gym this week. I hate getting out in the cold, but truly love being at the gym. The looks I got from other gym-goers as I lifted was quite comical. [No worries dudes he’s safe and sound in there!]
